On Monday (July 27), crews descended onto St Peter's Street for a "whole day" of shooting outside Boots. Although unconfirmed, this would not be the first time the high street brand has used St Albans in its marketing campaigns. In July last year, St Peter's Street became a winter wonderland with a blanket of artificial snow covering the pavement. A huge Christmas tree, cameras, crews and lighting could also be seen outside the St Albans shop. The city was front and centre in Boots' 2025 Christmas advert which reimagined the classic Puss in Boots fairy tale.
