The murals, located at the junctions of Catherine Street and Waddington Road, were the result of a collaboration between St Albans City Centre BID, Collective Gallery, Bar Meze, and local businesses on Waddington Road.
One of the murals, titled "We Are All Connected by Invisible Strings", was created by lead artist Sarah Harrison and artist Amelia Hart.
Further along Drovers Way, the second mural, titled "A Rose for St Albans", was created by lead artist Aisha Adi of Collective Gallery and artist Manasa SV.
This artwork symbolised the city’s ties to roses, from those laid at Saint Alban’s shrine to the white and red blooms of the War of the Roses, which began in St Albans.
At the time, Aisha Adi, founder of Collective Gallery, said: “Art in public spaces, particularly murals, are hugely important as they can help to reflect the history, diversity and stories of an area.
