On August 1, Sala Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte will host the debut concert of the National Chamber Orchestra (OCN), founded by conductor Rossini Parucci.
The orchestra plans to tour different regions of the country throughout the season.
The project calls for a core group of orchestra musicians to travel to each performance and join forces with local musicians in the host city.
Rossini Parucci is the artistic director and principal conductor of the Londrina State University Symphony Orchestra (Osuel) and a double bassist with the Minas Gerais Philharmonic.
At the helm of the OCN, he will be responsible for artistic direction and conducting the inaugural concert.
