The movement has urged for the swift withdrawal of all United States military bases and command centers from Iraq, labeling the American military presence as “a persistent, existential threat” to the nation’s security and stability. He emphasized that the actions targeted the nation’s official security institutions, contravening international law and the principles set forth in the UN Charter. He called on all parties to uphold Iraq’s sovereignty and refrain from actions that might jeopardize the nation’s security and stability. The coordinated military actions by the United States and Saudi Arabia targeting Iraq occurred concurrently with the influx of millions of Muslims from across the globe to Karbala.
