Hrachya Rostomyan, president of the Basketball Federation of Armenia, has announced that he has stepped down from his position. Rostomyan said that after leading the Basketball Federation of Armenia for 20 years, he was bidding farewell to the post. "When I took over the federation in 2006, Armenian basketball was in an extremely difficult situation. Rostomyan expressed gratitude to the athletes, coaches, referees, clubs, members of the executive committee, partners, sponsors and everyone who contributed to the development of basketball in Armenia. "I wish Armenian basketball continued growth, success and the opportunity to represent Armenia with dignity on the international stage," Rostomyan said in his message.
