Arthur Nazaryan has been elected president of the Basketball Federation of Armenia. During the federation's extraordinary assembly held in Yerevan on July 29, delegates unanimously approved his candidacy, the federation's press service said. Delegates heard a presentation from presidential candidate Arthur Nazaryan, who outlined his vision for the development of basketball in Armenia, as well as his upcoming plans and priorities. Nazaryan has worked within the Basketball Federation of Armenia for many years, serving as secretary general and overseeing the federation's organizational activities, international relations, and development programs. Since 2012, he has served as a FIBA International Commissioner.
