Nigeria has intensified diplomatic engagements with Angola and Libya, reaffirming its commitment to stronger bilateral cooperation on peace, security, migration management, and regional integration. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, held separate bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Angola and Libya to advance Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives and strengthen partnerships on issues of mutual interest. In a separate bilateral engagement, Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu met with Libya’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Elbaour. The bilateral meetings underscore Nigeria’s continued efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with African nations and reinforce collective action on continental peace, security, regional integration, and sustainable development.
