Srinagar: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet in a cheating case involving a fake cooking oil company. 15 lakh as security for the supply of cooking oil. The accused allegedly claimed that the company was a manufacturer of cooking oil and promised to deliver the stock within a week. During investigation, it was established that the accused, acting in conspiracy, cheated the complainant on the pretext of supplying mustard oil. The investigation also revealed the involvement of Shashank Kumar of Meerut, who was shown as the purported owner of the company.
