Gund:- Two school-going girls were injured after being hit by a speeding car on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway in the Gund area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday. The shocking incident, which was captured on CCTV, has sparked concern among local residents over reckless driving on the busy highway. The impact threw both students onto the road, causing panic among passers-by and local residents. People immediately rushed to the spot, provided initial assistance, and shifted the injured girls to the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Gund. The disturbing visuals have gone viral, triggering widespread outrage and renewing demands for stricter enforcement against rash and negligent driving on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway.
