What's On
Heritage, science and a fair amount of nose nuzzling – a morning at the world’s largest camel dairy farm is one of Dubai’s most unexpected days out.
Camelicious opened in 2006 with 23 camels and a fairly audacious idea: that camel milk, long a Bedouin staple, could become a modern, exportable superfood.
Camel milk tasting: from farm to fridgeThe tour then moves into the production plant, where approximately three million litres of camel milk are transformed each year into a range of products.
Fresh camel milk is produced for the UAE market, going from farm to table within 48 hours, while camel milk powder is shipped internationally.
Camelicious farm tour prices, timings and bookingTours run daily at 8am and 5pm, last about 90 minutes, and include the farm walk, camel feeding and tastings.
