MITCHELL — South Dakota voter turnout in Tuesday’s Republican gubernatorial runoff election between Gov. The Tuesday, July 28 Republican runoff saw a statewide voter turnout of 35.92%. The race was open only to registered Republican voters, with 118,123 ballots cast out of 328,882 registered voters. Turnout in Davison County was at 36.01%, with 2,590 ballots cast by Republicans among 7,193 registered voters.
