As of 6 am this morning, voluntary water conservation measures are in place for the Town of Antigonish Water utility. The town of Antigonish is encouraging town and fringe area residents to use water wisely and limit activities such as filling pools and washing vehicles. The Columbus Field Splash pad will limit hours to 11 am to 3 pm. The town stated staff will closely monitor water levels as well as long-range weather forecasts for any possible changes to the measures.
