While two of the suspects escaped, Samson was arrested at the scene, leaving behind the motorcycle they were riding. “The arrested suspect is currently in police custody, while detectives have launched a manhunt for the two fleeing accomplices. Commending the operatives for their vigilance and professionalism, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos state command, CP Tijani Fatai, reaffirmed the command’s determination to sustain the fight against violent crimes across the state. The Lagos state Police command urged members of the public to promptly report suspicious movements and criminal activities through its emergency lines to facilitate swift police response.
