Apple is partnering with Klarna to offer iPhone leasing in the U.S. starting at $17.99 per month for up to two years.
The big picture: The “Upgrade” program is available both in Apple retail stores and online, and requires only a soft credit check.
Leasing options also extend to Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad, with terms varying from one to three years depending on the device.
Entry-level devices like the iPhone 16 and MacBook Neo are not included in the leasing program.
The previous iPhone Upgrade Program, which required a higher monthly fee and included AppleCare, is discontinued and customers will transition to the new Apple Upgrade program.
