AdvertisementGSTN has announced that the proposed enhancements to the e-Way Bill system, which were earlier notified through advisories dated 9 June 2026 and 17 June 2026 and were scheduled for implementation from 1 August 2026, have been kept on hold until further notice. GSTN also stated that the detailed FAQs issued on 2 July 2026 relating to these proposed enhancements will be withdrawn along with the related advisories from the GST Portal. Accordingly, all stakeholders have been advised that no changes are required to be implemented in the production environment pursuant to the earlier advisories until further communication.
