I was somewhat surprised that delegates were not expected to indicate who they supported for a replacement Democratic U.S. Senate candidate. I also felt that Troy Jackson represented a progressive platform, similar to Graham Platner’s. Meanwhile, I received a text message from the Jackson campaign with a list of delegates supporting him and these were the delegates I voted for. The Jackson selection was not part of a political machine. I think we can win in November if we are united behind Jackson.
