While woodchucks will inhabit open fields, log/rock piles, roadsides and fencerows, they like to take up residence under old buildings. I was able to observe, photograph and get video footage of a family living under one of the many old buildings on the property. Woodchucks show up in random places, including a recent report of at least one individual seen in a back alley in Eastview.
