Multiplex has been named the main contractor for Derwent London’s 50 Baker Street development, a 236,000ft² office-led, mixed-use scheme in Marylebone. Main construction is scheduled to commence in 2027, after demolition and enabling works by McGee, with completion set for 2029. According to Multiplex, the scheme is intended to address a longstanding shortage of premium office space in Westminster. The collaboration between Derwent London and Multiplex follows previous partnerships, including developments at White Collar Factory and 80 Charlotte Street.
