First responders worked with TECO gas to isolate and repair the ruptured line. OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Fire Rescue responded to a natural gas leak yesterday morning after a contractor accidently struck a gas line. They ascertained that a leak had in fact been created and established a safe perimeter. A portion of the roadway was temporarily closed to traffic while additional crews from Shady Station #16 worked to secure the leak. TECO gas arrived on the scene and isolated and repaired the leak without injury to responders or civilians.
