The Serious Incident Response Team (or SiRT) is now investigating an incident involving a woman being injured during an arrest by the Halifax detachment of the RCMP.
Officers arrested the woman on scene for failing to comply and criminal harassment.
During the arrest, the woman was reportedly injured.
The woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and she is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in the future.
As the investigation is now under the responsibility of the SiRT, the RCMP said they could provide no further comment in their release on the matter.
