The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow has appointed Campbell Arnott as senior sales and business development manager within its conference sales team. Arnott joins the SEC after 16 years at the Glasgow Convention Bureau, where he worked to attract international conferences to the city. In this role, he will help drive the SEC’s international association strategy, working with the venue’s city partners to strengthen its position as an international conference destination. The appointment comes after a strong year for international association conferences for the Scottish venue. Recent wins also include the 25th IET International Conference on AC and DC Power Transmission and the International Congress of Mathematicians in 2030.
