Filmmaker Suneel Darshan has spoken about one of Bollywood’s most discussed relationships, recalling the breakup of Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan and sharing his experience from that time. Speaking to Hindi Rush, Darshan looked back at his association with Karisma Kapoor during that phase of her life. According to Darshan, the couple had already decided to get married while Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya was being planned. Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan made their relationship public during Amitabh Bachchan’s 60th birthday celebrations in 2002 and got engaged soon after. Later, Karisma Kapoor married Sunjay Kapur on September 29, 2003, in a Sikh wedding ceremony.
