Councillor Mel Allcott is calling for double yellow lines to be put on several roads around the Listers Garage, on Ombersley Road, and neighbouring roads due to concerns that a lack of visibility could cause a crash.
She is appealing to Worcestershire County Council to review Ombersley Road, Colin Road, Leslie Avenue, Dorothy Crescent, and Grange Avenue to see if they need double yellow lines.
Cllr Allcott said she has repeatedly raised concerns with Worcestershire County Council’s highways team and has been pushing for double yellow lines and other appropriate parking measures.
