Jason Watkins, 37, had been walking his dog Skylar near his home in Upton upon Severn when she jumped up on Andy Milner and bit him on the arm. He said he had seen the dog previously but that she had not behaved in this way. Skylar, a Bullmastiff and Rhodesian Ridgeback cross, had already been subject to a contingent destruction order following a previous incident in 2024. A behavioural assessment of the dog was carried out, where it was agreed that a destruction order would not be necessary for Skylar. Watkins was handed a criminal behaviour order of 12 months, and a new contingent destruction order for his dog.
