Hunter07/30/26A South Dakota man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly throwing items at passing cars in Iowa City. Police say multiple parties reported that a man was jumping in front of cars at the intersection of Highway 6 and Boyrum Street at 6am Monday, throwing water and other objects. When officers arrived, the suspect allegedly refused to identify himself and continued walking when told to stop. The man was identified as 27-year-old Austin Kusler of Sioux Falls South Dakota, and he reportedly tensed up when told he was under arrest. If convicted on both charges, Kusler could be sentenced to up to 60 days in jail.
