The boy died from his injuries. A woman, who was also a passenger in the Toyota, is being treated in hospital for serious injuries. Wiltshire Police said their thoughts are with the boy’s family “at this incredibly difficult time”. A force spokesperson said specially trained officers are supporting the boy’s family. Investigators from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
