Miracle Theatre said the handcrafted items, used in its touring production of Peer Gynt, were discovered missing as cast members prepared costumes and props before a performance on Tuesday, July 28. The missing mask and hands were specially created for one of the trolls featured in the production and represent many hours of work by the company's costume team. Bill Scott, founder of Miracle Theatre, said: "We're hoping somebody might spot these items, perhaps out on the coast path, in town or on the beach. A photograph released by the theatre company shows three trolls from the production, with the missing mask belonging to the troll on the far left.
