Huskies continue offensive surge with blowout win over RaftersThe Duluth Huskies scored eight runs in the first two innings and never looked back, taking down the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 12-2 on Wednesday night. Duluth came into the final game of their seven-game homestand having scored 87 runs across their last nine contests. The Huskies would strike for five runs in the first inning, with RBI knocks off the bats of Maddox Monsour, Jalen Smith, and Dax Hardcastle. Ben Llewellyn tossed 6 2/3 innings for Duluth, only giving up one run on five hits while striking out four batters. Duluth (26-34) will head north of the border for a clash with the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Thursday, July 30.
