Analysts at the CME Group and certainly on Wall Street already looking ahead to the September meeting of the Federal Reserve Board. The board we mentioned yesterday does not meet in August, so the next date for market watchers, September 15th and 16th. As of today, CME shows a 0% chance of a rate cut, 19% chance rates remaining unchanged, leaving an 81% chance the Fed will hike rates by at least a quarter point. We’ll keep you updated as there are regular monthly economic reports August and early September that could cool inflation concerns by the Federal Reserve, crude oil, energy and food leading the way.
