Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Perry CountyTHORNVILLE, Ohio –The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Perry County. According to the Lancaster Post, the accident happened Wednesday, July 29, shortly after 12:30 P.M. on Rush Creek Road near Township Road 2 in Reading Township. Troopers said Katherine L. Penn, 64, of Pickerington was riding her motorcycle south on Rush Creek Road when she failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway. Authorities said Penn then struck a fence and was ejected when her motorcycle overturned. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Perry County Coroner’s Office, Reading Township Fire and EMS, and A-One Towing.
