(ABC 6 News) – Minnesota voters will decide whether to amend the state’s constitution to send more school funding to districts.
As for what the funds would be used for, Dittrich said that’s up for school districts to decide.
“The school board and the school district can determine what is the most pressing educational need for that school district is,” Dittrich said.
“That is not enough to have the school district stop looking at referendums,” Heil said in an email to ABC 6 News.
Giese added that while any additional funding is appreciated, this amendment would not eliminate the need for districts to seek operating referendums.
