Trowbridge's Uniform Services Day is set to make a welcome return this September after last year's event did not go down due to strong winds and rain. The free family event will take place in Trowbridge Town Park on Saturday, September 12, from 11am to 4pm, bringing together the Armed Forces, emergency services and community organisations for a day packed with displays, demonstrations and entertainment. Organised by Trowbridge Town Council, the event promises something for all ages, with military vehicles, emergency service equipment, live performances, children's activities and food and drink stalls. Town council organisers hope the event will once again attract hundreds of visitors after last year's cancellation because of the severe weather conditions. A council spokesperson said Uniform Services Day provides "a fantastic opportunity for the Armed and Uniformed Services to engage with the community and for the public to show their support".
