Former Warminster restaurant could soon become home after sudden closure
['John Baker']
Wiltshire Times | News
Plans have been submitted to Wiltshire Council to convert the former Lodge Restaurant in Warminster.
The application relates to the former restaurant at Henfords Marsh, which closed its doors in January 2025 after 22 years in business.
The application has been submitted on behalf of Nick Clift by Bath-based Context Planning Ltd.
The Lodge, formerly known as Hunters Moon, said in 2025 rising operating costs had made the business financially unsustainable.
Wiltshire Council will consider the planning application after the public consultation period closes.
