Alongside e‑billing, the council tax online portal also allows residents to take care of a range of everyday tasks in one place, including:Printing their council tax billSetting up or changing a direct debitReporting a change of addressChecking their council tax bandApplying for discountsWhen making a council tax payment, residents should check that the reference number they use matches the reference number shown on their most recent council tax bill. The reference number can be found on the front of the bill and using the latest reference number will help ensure payments are allocated correctly and avoid any unnecessary delays in updating their account.
