Book reviewer and content creator Kelly Bloomer will be at Halesowen Library on Saturday, August 8 at 11am to talk about how she built a following online by sharing short videos about books. Ms Bloomer posts under the username @kelly86booktok and began sharing her reading recommendations in 2022. Library manager Sue Morgan-Salcombe said the event was a chance to hear from someone who has seen the impact first-hand. She added that Ms Bloomer will talk about how she got started, share some of her favourite books and authors, and answer questions from the audience.
