FARGO — Another year, another world record attempt in downtown Fargo.
Broadway Square, for a brief moment, became the tic-tac-toe center of the universe, hoping to break the record of the most people playing tic-tac-toe at once on Wednesday, July 29.
ADVERTISEMENTThat led to a tournament of a similar game, called Tick-Stack-Toe, started by a Fargo entrepreneur.
Leaders say they're aiming for annual world record attempts as part of an effort to keep bringing people downtown.
Last year, Fargo successfully set a record for the most people eating s'mores in one space .
