New manufacturing facility advances Egypt’s industrial localization strategy while supporting smart infrastructure, export growth and regional supply-chain integration.
The first phase of the project represents an investment of approximately EGP350 million (US$6.9 million), according to Siemens Egypt.
Production will initially serve the domestic market before expanding exports across the Middle East and Africa, reflecting Siemens’ strategy of manufacturing closer to key growth markets.
The new facility represents a strategic expansion of Siemens’ manufacturing footprint while supporting Egypt’s ambition to strengthen its role as a regional centre for advanced industrial production and technology-intensive exports.
