Four arrested as Newport police target repeat burglary offenders

Gwent Police made the arrests in Newport West on July 27 as part of ongoing neighbourhood policing efforts.
A 29-year-old man from Newport, David Owen of Worcester Crescent, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of shop theft.
A 50-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft, fraud by false representation, and likely breach of bail conditions.
The arrest follows a reported burglary at a commercial premises on Corporation Road.
PC Erin Rogers said:"As part of Operation Krypton, we're working with partners to tackle ASB and theft, and the crimes really affecting residents and businesses in Newport.
