Officers from roads policing, specialist operations, and Newport teams attended an address in the area where it had been established that two wanted persons were present. A 38-year-old man from Caldicot was arrested on suspicion of breaching a restraining order, theft from a person, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine). A second man, aged 21 and from Cardiff, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, affray, failing to stop for police, and failing to attend court. Gwent Police’s Roads Policing and Dog Section said:"This was as a result of Roads Policing & Specialist Operations officers and Gwent Police - Newport Officers attending an address in the area, as it had been established that two wanted persons were present." "Both males remain in custody at this time whilst enquiries continue."
