Hancox’s Pies, based at Pontygwindy Industrial Estate, was recognised at the Best of Welsh Hospitality & Food Awards 2026 in Swansea on Sunday, July 26. Originally based in Gilfach, Bargoed, Hancox’s Pies quickly gained a loyal following and moved to larger premises in Caerphilly in December 2023 to meet growing demand. Hancox’s Pies is particularly known for its handmade pies, savouries, pastries, and Portuguese-inspired treats.
