Drug dealer who sold cocaine, cannabis and laughing gas walks free from court

He was first caught dealing cannabis and nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas, last summer and released under investigation by the policeWhen the defendant was re-arrested in May, his offending had escalated to selling class A drug cocaine as well.
He was arrested that second time at home while living at the Queen’s Hotel on Bridge Street in Newport city centre.
Quhhar, formerly of Amber Close, Newport pleaded guilty to a number of offences that included being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, being concerned in the supply of laughing gas as well as possession with intent to supply nitrous oxide.
“The defendant began using cannabis and nitrous oxide when he was 15 and cocaine when he was 18.
The defendant will have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
