The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] expressed its condolences following the passing of BFA Legend Granville “Sam”, “The Cat” Nusum. A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] wishes to express its deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families, teammates, and friends on the recent passing of BFA Legend Granville ‘Sam’, ‘The Cat’ Nusum. “In Bermuda, Sam started his football career as a goalkeeper at North Village and finished with Hotels International. In between his domestic career in Bermuda, he excelled in the professional ranks, playing for Montreal Olympique, the Vancouver Whitecaps, and the New York Cosmos. In 2008, he was named a BFA Legend, and Anwar Telford was awarded a scholarship in his honor.
