Flooding effects linger in Sand LakeSAND LAKE, N.Y. (WNYT) – Flooding across the Capital Region washed out roads, closed businesses and left some people unable to get where they needed to go. Parts of County Route 50, also called Millers Corners Road, in Sand Lake, were washed away. One woman told NewsChannel 13 she could not get to work because roads around her were impassable. Some local businesses also had to close, with owners telling NewsChannel 13 they could not get deliveries through. He told NewsChannel 13 he could not remember seeing flooding like this.
