The Ministry of Health has announced the temporary closure of the Nursing Training College at Techiman Krobo in the Bono East Region following unrest and what it describes as a breakdown in discipline at the institution. The Ministry said the conduct of the students had disrupted academic activities and posed a threat to the peace, safety and orderly administration of the college. As part of the directive, all students have been ordered to vacate the campus peacefully by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Parents and guardians have also been advised to make the necessary arrangements to receive their wards. It further appealed to all stakeholders to cooperate with efforts to restore a safe, peaceful and disciplined learning environment at the institution.
