The Cheesecake Factory will open its third Charlotte-area restaurant at Concord Mills this November. "We're thrilled to welcome The Cheesecake Factory to Concord Mills," Sarah Scire, director of marketing at the Simon-owned mall, told The Charlotte Observer in a statement. "It's a fantastic addition to our dining lineup, and we're excited for shoppers to experience it as part of the growing entertainment and dining destination we've built at the center." Plans call for transforming a retail store into a restaurant, adding a mall entry tower and a covered patio where guests can dine. "We are currently in discussions with (Concord Mills owner) Simon Properties regarding a location in Concord and look forward to signing our lease soon," said Alethea Rowe, a spokeswoman for the California-based restaurant.
