Mercedes-Benz has revealed its next-generation GLA compact SUV, which moves to the manufacturer’s new dedicated Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA). The entry-level GLA 200 electric uses a 58 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack producing 224hp. The mid-range GLA 250+ increases output to 272hp, while the flagship GLA 350 4Matic electric delivers 354hp and a 0-62mph acceleration time of 5.4 seconds. A 71 kWh variant will join the line-up in 2027, but the UK line-up is still to be confirmed. Prices for the UK line-up will be revealed closer to the model’s market launch.
