Hadramout — Search and rescue teams of the Hadramout Coast Guard saved 6 people from drowning on the 14th day of the Balta tourism season, as part of ongoing efforts to secure beaches and protect visitors along Al-Sittin coast in Mukalla. According to the Coast Guard command, rescue units responded to multiple distress calls and managed to save five residents of Hadramout, including a middle-aged man and four youths. The statement added that teams also rescued a young man from outside the province after he suffered a near-drowning incident. He received immediate medical assistance on site, and his health was reported as stable and not life-threatening. The Coast Guard emphasized its continued readiness to safeguard beachgoers during the festival season, urging visitors to adhere to safety guidelines to prevent further incidents.
