The Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission) has released an in-depth review of the Postal Service’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Performance Report and FY 2026 Performance Plan. This statutory review evaluates whether the Postal Service met its performance goals and assesses the viability of its planned targets. The Commission’s thorough analysis revealed that, in FY 2025, the Postal Service failed to meet any of its four core performance goals:High-Quality Service:The Commission finds that the Postal Service failed to meet the High-Quality Service performance goal for FY 2025, with none of the targets for the eight public performance indicators achieved. Excellent Customer Experience:The Commission finds that the Postal Service did not meet the Excellent Customer Experience performance goal in FY 2025 because it met two targets but missed six targets. Financial Health:The Commission finds that the Postal Service did not meet the Financial Health performance goal in FY 2025.
