Church burger bashesImmaculate Conception Church will host a series of monthly summer burger bashes inside Our Lady’s Plaza, 308 Second St. in Irwin. Battle of Bushy Run reenactmentThe Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society invites the public to step back in time for the annual reenactment of the Battle of Bushy Run, fought in 1763. The battlefield is located at 1253 Bushy Run Road in Penn Township. Passes can be obtained for Historic Hanna’s Town, West Overton Village, the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Fort Ligonier Museum, the Lincoln Highway Experience, the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department and the historic Bushy Run Battlefield.
