A relative of Perth stabbing victim Barry Dixon has accused prison chiefs of releasing killer Robbie Smullen because he wanted it, leaving two new victims to pay the price.
‘This monster was an extreme danger’Jade, who fought the temporary release, believes prison chiefs simply carried out the wishes of the killer.
“The SPS gave a killer what he wanted, and two new victims paid the price.”
‘Completely shrouded in secrecy’Jade has raised concerns about the temporary release process since before Smullen was granted freedom by SPS.
However, it cannot confirm that the offender is being given temporary release or to provide details of any individual periods of temporary release.
